Harvesting has been picking up and the last 10 days of dry weather have been great for harvesting.  At Midwest Laboratories, this translates into an earlier sampling time and more soils received for soil testing.  Yesterday, we received just under 6,000 soils.  These types of numbers are about 10-14 days early.

The other good news is the trend of moisture contents in the 10-15 percent range. This is very much welcomed after last years wet fall.
