In the past, information regarding calories on menus has been highlighted because of the new regulations are making it mandatory to post this information.
However, many people look at calorie counts each day as they work out at their local gym. How accurate are these counts with respect to calories burned? The following video, (quality isn’t the best) looks at this topic.
What I found most fascinating about this story was how the information was presented. Instead of questioning the machine with respect to the calories burned, we should all be making sure we are not cheating the system by leaning up against the machine or not using our arms or not inputting our accurate weight. The whole process starts with the individual. Some things to really think about, if you are tracking your calories burned on a daily basis.
