Swimming Pool BacteriaA study from the Center For Disease Control found that 58% of the pools in the United States had a presence of e.Coli in their pool water.

Make sure you take precautions with your children when it comes to going to the local public pool and dealing with the issue of bacteria this summer.

  • Make sure children go to the bathroom beforehand and take a shower to wash off any type of dirt or germs before entering the pool.
  • Make sure kids playing on the water do not consume a lot of pool water.
  • After swimming, it is a good idea to take another shower with soap to make sure pool water is rinsed off kid’s skin.
